Nobody had enumerated what medicines actually disclose about their starch excipients. These papers do that, at scale, from primary regulatory sources. Every figure is reproducible from published code and every dataset is CC0.
Two Rulebooks, One Protein: How Gluten Disclosure Differs Between the US Food Supply and US Medications
US food labels must declare wheat; US drug labels need declare nothing. Measuring 800 US food products against 1,360 EU drug leaflets and 86 paired molecules finds the outcome inverts the rules — 21.1% of food products with a source-ambiguous ingredient name no source, against 11.6% of US drug labels.

The Vocabulary Beats the Mandate: Starch Source Disclosure in Paired US and EU Drug Labels
A within-molecule comparison of 86 medicines authorised in both markets. US labels name the starch's botanical source for 88.4% of molecules against 38.4% for EU leaflets; all 43 discordant pairs favour the US label (McNemar exact p = 2.3e-13).

An excipient census of European Medicines Agency product information leaflets. 218 of 1,360 products contain a starch or dextrin excipient; exactly half name no botanical source. No product declares wheat starch.
